Short-term training course in tourism guiding

The Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, will launch a short-term training course and issue a certificate in Tourism Guiding Skills - a prerequisite for obtaining a Tourist Guide license.
The Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, will launch a short-term training course and certificate program in Tourism Guiding – a prerequisite for obtaining a Tourist Guide license. According to the framework program for short-term training in Tourism Guiding, issued under Decision No. 1416/QD-BVHTTDL dated April 14, 2009, the target trainees are defined as follows:
1. Training duration: 1 monthThe trainees are individuals with a university degree in Tourism or a related field, but not specializing in tour guiding.
2. Training duration: 2 monthsThe trainees are individuals with a high school diploma, a college diploma in tourism (excluding tour guiding), or a university degree or higher in economics, social sciences, or humanities.
3. Training duration: 3 monthsParticipants are individuals holding a vocational or college diploma in another field, or a university degree or higher in natural sciences, engineering, or technology. *Extended eligibility: Final-year students may be considered for enrollment if they have a certificate confirming their final-year student status. Before being considered for certificate issuance, participants must submit a notarized copy of their diploma.
Course start date: Expected in June 2012.
