The Center for Journalism and Communication is enrolling for the Journalism Writing Skills class, starting in September 2012.

1. Object: Students who have graduated/are studying at colleges/universities.
2. Objective: At the end of the course, students will grasp the basic knowledge and skills of journalism, specifically as follows: - The appearance of Vietnamese journalism and career opportunities in the field of print media; - Law and ethics of journalism; - Skills to detect problems and collect information and evaluate press information; - Interviewing skills as a professional operation of journalists, and interviewing as an independent genre of journalism; - Basic journalism genres such as news, interviews, portraits, reports, reflections; - Organizing articles; - Introduction to newspaper layout.
3. Study time: 21 sessions. Monday – Wednesday – Friday, from 6pm – 8pm
4. Register for study: Receive applications until September 18, 2012 at the Center. Application documents include: - Application form (receive and fill out at the place of registration) - Copy of student card/university diploma/ID card. - 2 photos 3 x 4 cm (taken within the last 3 months)
