Announcement of enrollment for supplementary knowledge courses to prepare for the postgraduate entrance exam in Tourism.

The Faculty of Tourism Studies is recruiting students for a preparatory course to prepare for the Master's (Tourism) entrance exam in 2021, as follows:

1. Subject

- Candidates from related fields: Individuals with a full-time university degree in Tourism Guiding, Tourism Culture, Tourism Geography, Transport and Tourism Economics, Vietnamese Studies, Management Science, etc., or individuals with a university degree whose curriculum differs from that of the Tourism Faculty by 10% to 40% in both content and duration of study (total number of class hours or credit units or credits of the relevant field). Candidates from related fields must have at least one year of work experience in a professional field relevant to the registered major (calculated from the date of the university graduation certificate to the date of the exam).

- Candidates from other fields: Individuals with a university degree in a field other than Foreign Languages, History, etc., or those with a university degree whose curriculum differs from the Tourism Studies program by more than 40% in both content and duration. Candidates from other fields must have at least 3 years of work experience in a professional field relevant to the registered major (calculated from the date of the university graduation certificate to the date of the postgraduate entrance examination).

Note: Only those with a bachelor's degree in the relevant field (Tourism and Travel Service Management), a related field, or an equivalent field (Tour Guide, Hotel Management, Restaurant and Food Service Management) are eligible to take the postgraduate entrance exam without a conversion certificate.

3. Certificates

Those who complete the course will be awarded a certificate demonstrating knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Service Management and will be eligible to take the postgraduate tourism entrance exam at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

4. Costs and expected start date

5. Registration:

Those wishing to register for the course should submit their application and a provisional tuition fee of VND 1,000,000 to the Faculty office (Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Room 509, Building B, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi). This amount will be refunded if the student drops out midway or fails to notify the Faculty after receiving the specific class schedule.
