1. Course target
People working in leadership, management and operation of professional work in press and media agencies, state management agencies of press and media and agencies managing press and media units:
- Newspapers, Magazines, Radio and Television Stations;
- Propaganda Department of districts and provinces and cities under the province;
- Radio stations of districts and provincial cities;
- Cultural, Sports and Communication Centers of districts and provincial cities;
- Electronic newspaper/Electronic information portal/General electronic information page/Electronic newsletter;
- Department/office in charge of information, communication, propaganda, and public relations activities of agencies, organizations, units, and enterprises.
- Agencies, organizations and individuals who want to study.
2. Training program
Help students understand and analyze the basic principles of the Party's leadership role and the State's management of the press and media; leadership content, leadership mechanism, management content, and management mechanism for the press and media. Understand and analyze the situation and results of the activities of the Vietnamese press and media in the process of national renewal and press innovation, including achievements, shortcomings, and weaknesses;
Assess the domestic and international situation related to press and media activities; Apply innovative thinking, leadership thinking, tasks and solutions to activities to improve the quality and effectiveness of press leadership and management in the coming years.
- Master professional knowledge of administration and management in the field of press and media as well as business knowledge, brand building, and management of the press and media organization; to synthesize, analyze, and interpret policies and media management activities at the work unit and practice well specific tasks of press management, administration and business in the field of press and media.
After the course, learners will have the expertise and confidence to take on various jobs such as leaders, managers at state management agencies at all levels, sectors, and localities in the field of journalism and media, consultants implementing business policies in the field of journalism and media for management agencies, businesses, specialists working in state agencies, organizations, and businesses operating in the field of journalism and media, business administrators of journalism and media, researchers, lecturers, and business administrators operating in the field of journalism and media.
