This program is designed to create a foundation for teaching, learning and assessing Vietnamese for international students, as a basis for developing updated and modern Vietnamese documents and learning materials according to the 6-level competency framework; contributing to the development of Vietnamese language and cultural identity.
The program is designed in 6 levels: level 1, level 2, level 3, level 4, level 5, level 6. The total training time is 1320 periods. The study and practice time in class for each level is 200 periods, the remaining 20 periods are for internship and practical activities.
The program focuses on practicing 4 skills: listening, reading, speaking, writing. The practice part gives priority to 2 common skills: listening and speaking.
