11. Summary of new results of the thesis:
- The thesis has systematized the concepts and supplemented the development of theories on radio in general and accompanying radio in particular. The thesis has outlined the characteristics and roles of accompanying radio as a form of modern radio broadcasting that helps radio to accompany events, accompany listeners to update news quickly, closely follow and develop news into hot issues and interact with listeners, considering listeners as co-producers. Based on the study of the methods of accompanying radio broadcasting of some radio stations in the world, the thesis has presented experiences in applying accompanying radio broadcasting in Vietnam.
- Based on the survey and assessment of the current status of implementing companion broadcasting at Voice of Vietnam, the thesis has pointed out the successes and limitations, the causes of the limited successes when implementing companion broadcasting in Vietnam.
- The thesis has pointed out issues that need attention when applying companion radio and proposed a system of general and specific solutions to apply companion radio at Voice of Vietnam.
The results of the thesis contribute to the process of innovating radio production methods to suit the current stage of social development and press and media.
12. Practical application:The thesis can be applied in the process of radio innovation in Vietnam, especially with channels in the direction of News, Music, and Traffic.
13. Further research directions:
From the results of the thesis, the author can continue to study how the digital transformation process affects radio in general and companion radio in particular, thereby proposing solutions to continue to innovate radio to better serve the public in the context of a changing media environment.
