- Theoretical knowledge and information obtained from the actual survey of prisons can contribute to the theoretical basis and data for analysis and understanding from a sociological perspective on prisoner education in prisons, contributing to enriching the field of research on prisoner education.

- The research results of the thesis can be used as documents for research, reference, teaching and learning of criminological sociology, legal sociology; organizing education for prisoners, in prisons and other related subjects.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

Firstly, systemizing the theory of crime research, the offender rehabilitation and some concepts such as the prison, offender, legal education for offenders and some other definitions related to the title of study.

Secondly, study on the characteristics of criminals who are serving their sentences in prison such as age, vocation, type of criminal offense, educational background, etc.

Thirdly, assessment on the legal education for offenders in prisons managed by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

Finally, the contemporary report on the offender rehabilitation in Nam Ha prison shows the elements affecting the legal education for offenders and the efficiency of the legal education. This provides with the scientific base to help the criminal sentence enforcement agency realize properly and then plan for the appropriate education programs for offenders to raise the efficiency.

12. Practical applicability

- All the knowledge and information from the survey in prisons might consolidate for the reasoning and database in the statistics as well as raise more awareness for the rehabilitation of criminals in prisons from the social view, which enrich the expertise in the field of corrections.

- The founding of thesis may be used as the reference in teaching, studying the subjects of the Socio-criminology, Socio-jurisprudence and providing for the programs in prisons to rehabilitate the offenders and the related objectives.

- Provide with the database of the initial survey in the legal education for offenders in prisons.

-The solutions suggested in the thesis will implement more measures for the legal education for criminals who are serving time in prisons.

study on the affection of the legal education for offenders serving time of imprisonment (prisons by MPS in the North, Central region and South).
