2. Training Objectives
The high-quality undergraduate journalism program applies advanced teaching methods combining theory and practice, aiming to train journalism and media graduates with strong foreign language skills, broad and deep fundamental knowledge, proficient operational skills, and the ability to create high-quality journalistic products for diverse media types (print, radio, television, and online) from news, interviews, feature stories, biographical sketches, radio and television programs, to longform articles and multimedia journalistic works; capable of hosting radio and television programs; knowledgeable in the fields of communication, PR, and advertising; and able to identify and initially apply knowledge of media management and business.
After completing the course, students will be highly competent in working at management and leadership positions in the press, print, radio, television, and online media organizations, government agencies, ministries, departments, businesses, political and social organizations, etc.; or they can conduct research and teach journalism and media at higher education institutions and research centers both domestically and internationally; or they can start their own media companies, creating jobs for themselves and others.
At the same time, students have a good chance of continuing their studies, pursuing higher education, and gaining experience to become leaders and experts in the field of journalism and media.
