2. Objectives of the training program
2.1 General Objectives
The undergraduate Political Science program aims to train human resources with fundamental, systematic, in-depth, up-to-date, and modern knowledge of political science; with political research and practice skills; capable of working in fields requiring political understanding; and with a positive attitude, meeting the requirements for protecting, building, and developing the country in the new context.
2.2 Specific Objectives
- Students are equipped with general knowledge, a foundation in social sciences and humanities, basic knowledge of their field and group of fields, and specialized knowledge and orientation in political science;
- Students possess skills in approaching, researching, and presenting on politics; they also have the skills to apply their political science knowledge when participating in activities in various fields of political life.
- Graduates of Political Science have a positive attitude towards achieving the goal of firmly protecting national independence and sovereignty, building a prosperous, strong, just, democratic, and civilized Vietnam.

PART II: LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM
1. Regarding knowledge
PLO 01: Applying knowledge of political theory, law, and social sciences to academic activities, research, and political practice;
PLO 02: Analysis of political theory schools, institutional models, and contemporary political developments;
PLO 03: Understanding and evaluating public policies, the policy-making process, and the relationship between politics, media, and society;
PLO 04: Application of information technology and digital data to academic activities, political communication, and policy analysis;
PLO 05: Applying interdisciplinary thinking and foundational knowledge of sociology, psychology, communication, etc., to the research and practice of Political Science;
PLO 06: Applying practical knowledge of the Vietnamese political system, international institutions, and specialized political fields (National Governance, Politics and Media, Ho Chi Minh Studies).

Graduates in Political Science can take on job positions in political and social organizations, state agencies, economic and educational organizations, in roles such as: civil servants, officials, specialists, organizational officers, communications officers, administrative officers, movement officers, foreign affairs officers, human resources officers, researchers, teaching assistants, specifically as follows:
- Working in state agencies, Party organizations, the State, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations at the central and local levels, such as: the Party, the National Assembly, the Government, ministries, departments, People's Committees, People's Councils, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations;
- Editors, political and social reporters; policy communication specialists, PR specialists, and public opinion analysts at press agencies, television stations, corporations, businesses, media companies, policy research and consulting organizations, and political and social communication agencies;
- Public relations officers, administrative officers, human resources officers, external relations officers, and project specialists in businesses, development organizations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs);
- Participate in entrepreneurship and social innovation in fields related to your trained expertise, such as research, social media, policy consulting, digital citizenship education, platforms serving to improve public administration and social participation;
