2. Objectives of the training program
2.1 General Objectives
The program aims to train highly qualified human resources with a solid foundation in social sciences and humanities, and a systematic understanding of Korean studies. It equips students with practical skills in using the Korean language, as well as essential skills for daily life and professional activities, enabling them to proactively handle tasks related to Korea. Graduates in Korean Studies are provided with a fundamental foundation for lifelong learning, personal development, and the ability to pursue higher education.
2.2 Specific Objectives
- Providing basic knowledge of social sciences and humanities as prescribed by the training institution; basic knowledge of area studies and Korean studies, with a focus on equipping students with advanced Korean language skills and a system of specialized knowledge in Korean studies (multidisciplinary knowledge such as history, culture, economics, politics, society, etc.);
- To provide students with the necessary professional qualities and skills to work in research, management, as experts, project managers, translators and interpreters in educational institutions related to Korea, research institutes, agencies, organizations, businesses in Vietnam and Korea, non-governmental organizations, and other agencies both domestically and internationally, or to continue their studies at higher levels;
- To train and develop students to be self-reliant in various working environments and conditions, providing them with a foundation for self-learning, independent research, and proactive self-improvement to become high-level human resources in the field of Korean Studies. To foster enthusiasm, passion, proper conduct, and responsibility in their studies, research, and work related to Korean Studies.

PART II: LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM
1. Regarding knowledge
PLO 01: Applying basic knowledge of political theory, philosophy, economics, sociology, law, and social sciences and humanities to understand and address academic and life issues in the contemporary context;
PLO 02: Applying fundamental knowledge of academic standards, professional ethics, creative thinking, design thinking, entrepreneurship, information technology, and AI tools to analyze and solve professional and life problems in the context of the digital age;
PLO 03: Able to apply theories, methods, and extensive knowledge in the interdisciplinary field of Korean Studies to conduct research and manage professional activities.
2. Regarding skills
PLO 04: Proficient in Korean at B1 level (equivalent to level 3 according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework used in Vietnam), meeting the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi National University. In addition, able to apply advanced and specialized Korean language skills to support professional activities;
PLO 05: Applying critical thinking and combining scientific research methods to collect and process data; analyzing, synthesizing, and proposing solutions to problems in the field of Korean studies;
PLO 06: Conduct analysis and presentation, communicate issues related to Korean studies, and compare them with the case of Vietnam in carrying out professional tasks;
PLO 07: Develop teamwork to solve professional problems and propose ideas, leading startups in fields related to Korea.
3. Level of autonomy and responsibility
PLO 08: Ability to work independently, work in teams, organize personal work, manage time, and self-direct personal development in academic and professional environments;
