ContentThis project brings together leading researchers from Japan and Vietnam to share theories, practical applications, and propose solutions to challenges in preserving and promoting cultural heritage in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, enhancing the potential of cultural heritage as a tourism resource to aid in post-pandemic economic recovery.
ResultThe international scientific conference "Preserving and Promoting Heritage Values in the Context of Covid-19" attracted considerable attention, with 8 reports reflecting the current state of typical cultural heritage sites in Hoi An, Duong Lam, Nghe An, and Tien Giang (regarding architecture, decorative arts, costumes, festivals, cuisine, and the cultural life of the people, etc.); and addressing international lessons and experiences shared from examples of heritage preservation in Japan.
