For many consecutive years, the Information and Library Faculty's Youth Union - Student Association has always been the leading unit in the emulation movement of the Youth Union - Student Association of the School. The Faculty is proud to host 1 to 2 school-level activities each year, each activity has its own unique color, associated with the strengths of the Faculty's professional work and brings practical values ​​to students such as:
*UP Volunteer Library: a project to bring knowledge and love of books to schools in the highlands. Teachers and students of the Faculty have donated and processed books according to professional library standards, packaged and directly transported them to schools in the highlands. Not only giving books, in each trip the delegation also organized book introduction competitions and collective activities, interacting with teachers and students of the school. In the 10 years from 2014 to 2024, the UP Volunteer Library has come to remote areas of the country: Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh. This meaningful activity of the Faculty has been honored to receive "Vu A Dinh Award”awarded by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in 2017.
* USSH IT Championship: the most exciting and attractive playground in Humanities for technology enthusiasts. The contest helps discover talented faces, with essential computer skills in life such as searching for information, editing documents, managing spreadsheets or designing presentations. Moreover, the contest also helps students become more confident in using computers, providing many unique and interesting technology tips.
*USSH Book Festival: where the love for books, reading, and knowledge is spread. At the Humanities Book Fair, students experience many interesting models related to books and reading such as book fairs, weeks of screenings of films adapted from books, and book cafes. In addition, each book lover can directly participate in competitions such as video design, posters, book presentations, and book sales.
* Humanities Book Tree: is an activity of donating documents to build a shared and shared bookshelf. Through the “Book Tree”, the Faculty has initiated a “give and receive” model with the spirit that each individual contributes at least one book to the “Tree” and can also take away another book. Books and newspapers are thus circulated to those in need, thereby contributing to promoting a reading culture and a spirit of sharing throughout the school.
