On October 21, 2025, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam (Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the University Council) and the Standing Committee of the University's Trade Union, on behalf of all staff and employees of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, presented 100,000,000 (one hundred million VND) to support people affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) and storm No. 11 (Matmo).
Previously, on October 10, 2025, the University's Trade Union transferred 150,000,000 (one hundred and fifty million) to support people affected by storm No. 10 through the Trade Union of Hanoi National University.
At the donation receiving ceremony, Comrade Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of mutual love and humanity of all staff and employees of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Over the years, the University has always actively accompanied the Vietnam Fatherland Front in charitable activities.
The Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front expressed his hope to continue receiving support from the school's leaders and all staff and employees in community service activities, helping people in difficult circumstances.
