1997 - 2001: Undergraduate studies at the Faculty of History, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

2003 - 2006: Studied for a Master's degree at the Department of History, Da Lat University.

From 2010 to 2014, I pursued my PhD at Hunan Normal University, China.

• Main research areas: Modern and contemporary Vietnamese-Chinese diplomatic relations; Vietnamese-Chinese trade in the 17th, 18th, and early 19th centuries; Some issues concerning the East Sea and Vietnam's sovereignty over its maritime territories and islands.
