With the theme "Current situation, lessons learned, issues raised, trend forecasts and solution orientations in researching, applying, and creatively developing Ho Chi Minh's thought in science and technology development and innovation," the seminar identified the scientific foundations related to science and technology activities and innovation, serving the development of content in the documents of the 14th Party Congress.
Attending the seminar were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Tran Phuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Council of Thai Nguyen University of Education; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tu Quang Tan - Vice Rector; representatives of the leadership of the Department of Science and Technology of Thai Nguyen province; representatives of the leadership of Thai Hung Trading Joint Stock Company; scientists, lecturers, and students of Hanoi University of Education, Hanoi University of Education 2, and Thai Nguyen University of Education.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Member of the Central Theoretical Council, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Head of research project KX.02.29/21-25, delivered the opening remarks at the seminar.
In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh affirmed that the seminar is a forum for scientists to exchange practical research, lessons learned, issues arising from reality, forecast trends, and orient solutions for researching, applying, and creatively developing Ho Chi Minh's thought in promoting and improving the effectiveness of science and technology activities and innovation in the future.
Emphasizing the significant importance of the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Tran Phuong - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council of Thai Nguyen University of Education - said that the seminar provided an opportunity for lecturers and scientists of the university to present their research results, contributing to advising on solutions to make science and technology activities a strong resource in national development.

Under the co-chairmanship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tu Quang Tan, the delegates attending the seminar listened to presentations and exchanged ideas, discussing and proposing many solutions to creatively apply and develop Ho Chi Minh's thought in promoting science and technology activities and innovation in the future.
The scientific seminar is one of a series of activities within the research framework of project KX.02.29/21-25 under the National Special Science and Technology Program 2021-2025 “Research, application and creative development of Ho Chi Minh's thought in the construction and defense of the country during the đổi mới (renovation) period (from 1986 to the present, orientation to 2030 and vision to 2045)” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Member of the Central Theoretical Council, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
In 2024, the project team will organize 3 workshops and 15 seminars, attracting the participation of scientists, managers, organizations, and businesses at the central and local levels. These workshops and seminars will focus on discussing and agreeing on the theoretical framework of the project; researching the practical application of the theoretical framework in localities, organizations, and businesses; and proposing breakthrough solutions for the project, etc.
The seminar attracted the participation of many reputable scientists, lecturers, and students.
