As AI continues to develop and become a key factor in social life, identifying core competencies for students is an urgent task to help them adapt and develop in the digital age. However, there is still a lack of a specific, practical competency framework for students, causing difficulties in training and career orientation.

This is one of the contents discussed at the scientific forum "Connecting Technology and Innovation in Vietnamese Journalism and Media 2025" with the theme "AI Power for Young Media Workers" organized by the Institute of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (SJC) this morning, June 12, 2025.

On June 12, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi will organize the forum "Connecting Technology and Innovation in Vietnamese Journalism and Media 2025" with the theme: "The Power of AI for Young Media Workers".

Making AI a compulsory subject is not only an inevitable trend, but also an important lever to help Vietnamese higher education keep pace with the world.
