The schoolyard of My Dinh High School, Hanoi is very different today, because from early Monday morning, there were teachers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) and member universities of VNU in the 2024 University Admissions Consulting program.

According to students majoring in Han Nom, choosing to study this traditional major is the right choice, giving them a love and passion for studying ancient studies.

Every time Thanh Nga introduces herself as a student majoring in Han Nom, people often ask: "What do you learn when you study Han Nom?", "Is learning Han Nom learning calligraphy?", "Is learning Han Nom learning Chinese?"... However, the senior student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi has never regretted choosing this special major.

On November 24, 2020, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Institute of Han-Nom Studies and the French Institute for Advanced Studies organized a seminar on “Post-steles in the heritage of Vietnamese Han-Nom inscriptions”. The seminar is part of the Vietnamica Project.
