University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

The victory of April 30, 1975, was a great achievement and a historical miracle for the Vietnamese nation. It was the final battle in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign – the culmination of the Spring 1975 General Offensive and Uprising, putting an end to the war and ushering in a new era – an era of peace and national reunification. Associate Professor Pham Thanh Hung – former lecturer and former Vice President of the Veterans Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi – shared his moving reflections on the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

This was the theme of a scientific conference held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans Association, and in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country.

This was shared by veterans of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH) at the Conference summarizing the emulation campaign in 2023 and implementing the work plan for 2024, organized by the University's Veterans Association on the morning of December 22, 2023.
