The conference, themed "Research on national territorial sovereignty based on a holistic and comprehensive approach to Vietnamese history," was jointly organized by the Vietnam Historical Science Association, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, and the University of Education - Da Nang University on June 15, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The Editorial Board is pleased to present to our readers the Summary Report of the First National Historical Conference: Research on National Sovereignty and Territory in the Orientation of a Holistic and Comprehensive Approach to Vietnamese History, compiled by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoc - Vice President of the Vietnam Historical Science Association, former Head of the Department of History - Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
