On the morning of July 2, 2024, VNU held the Opening Ceremony of the 395th AUN-QA Program Assessment for 04 undergraduate training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Law, and University of Technology.

“Making a Difference – Social Work Without Barriers: Towards Sustainable Development and Responding to Emergencies” is the theme of the International Scientific Conference organized by the Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi on August 1-2, 2023.

On August 1, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China (PolyU) signed a cooperation agreement focusing on cooperation in social work (CTXH), marking a new development step of the social work sector at VNU-USSH in particular and Vietnam in general.

With the mission of pioneering in training and researching Social Work in Vietnam, the Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, in collaboration with partners, organized an international conference with the theme "Make a difference - Social Work without barriers: In response to sustainable development and public emergency".
