University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

(People's Representative) In the context of digital transformation and artificial intelligence changing the labor market, the question arises: will the "hot" fields in the social sciences and humanities still retain their appeal to candidates? Therefore, choosing a field of study requires a new perspective on what is considered the "core of human development."

As part of their working visit to Japan, on February 26, 2026, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, visited and held an official working meeting with the Board of Directors of the Kyushu National Museum in Fukuoka City. The trip also included a group from the Graduate Program in Japanese Studies (Faculty of Oriental Studies) comprising 2 lecturers, 1 research student, and 7 trainees, marking a new step in the collaborative connection between education and practice.

On February 25, 2026, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, led by Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector, visited and worked at the International Center for Japanese Studies (Nichibunken) in Kyoto, Japan. There, the delegation members participated in and actively contributed to an in-depth international conference on regional history.

On November 2-3, 2024, the 2024 Training Conference of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi (VNU-USSH) was held with the participation of representatives from the leadership of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the university's leadership, and leaders and specialists in charge of training at the training units and functional departments/centers of the university.
