(CPV) - According to information from the Central Council for the Protection of Cadre Health, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, after a period of illness, despite the dedicated care of the Party, the State, a team of professors and doctors, and the devoted care of his family, passed away at 1:38 PM on July 19, 2024, at the Central Military Hospital 108 due to his advanced age and severe illness. He was 80 years old.
