University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

The closing ceremony of the "Global Future Strategy Advanced/Executive Program in Vietnam" (GFSAMP-VN) on December 19, 2025, marked the end of a semester of intensive training, further solidifying the effective international training cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the Seoul National University Asia Center (SNUAC), Seoul National University, South Korea. The fact that the program is being implemented for the second time at VNU-USSH demonstrates the sustainability of the cooperation model and affirms the university's role in training high-level leaders and managers in the context of globalization.

On December 4, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, hosted a working meeting with a delegation from Shanghai Foreign Language University (China).

On November 18, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, received and held a working meeting with a delegation from Guangxi Normal University (China), led by Professor Tran Quoc Bao, Director of the Institute of Vietnamese Studies. Also attending the meeting were representatives from the Institute of History, Culture and Tourism and the Institute of Foreign Languages ​​of Guangxi Normal University.

On October 20, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) and Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (Kingdom of Thailand) held a ceremony to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking more than 20 years of partnership and development between these two prestigious educational institutions in Southeast Asia.

In the context of artificial intelligence (AI) reshaping all aspects of social life, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and Meta Group have collaborated on a project to enhance the AI ​​application capacity of lecturers and students in the following areas: understanding, evaluating, and using AI safely and responsibly. This project has yielded many outstanding results, contributing to the foundation for promoting the widespread application of AI in higher education.

On October 13, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) represented the university's leadership in receiving and working with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vietnam and artists from the "Sar Afshan" band - under the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, with the aim of strengthening connections, exchanges, and cooperation in the field of culture and art.

On October 8, 2025, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector), Associate Professor Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector), along with representatives from several units of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, received a delegation from KUVA ARTS CENTER led by Mr. Lee Kwang Chun (International Managing Director).

At the invitation and with funding from the Vietnamica Project, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan and a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) visited and worked with several French partners to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation activities in the future.

On the afternoon of September 16, 2025, in Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) hosted a working meeting with a delegation from the Russian State University of Humanities (RSUH), led by Professor Andrei Loginov (Rector).

On the afternoon of August 29, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a meeting and working session with representatives from the leadership of Andong National University (now Gyeongkuk National University, South Korea).

With a strong relationship spanning over 20 years, the two universities have had effective collaborative programs in training and research.

This morning, June 11, 2025, representatives from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Jeonnam Institute (JNI), South Korea, held a meeting and signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in various areas.
