The project is being implemented simultaneously at six Vietnamese universities and is expanding cooperation with higher education institutions in India and Bangladesh, aiming to build sustainable digital capabilities for faculty and students in the region.
FDP4 - AI in Teaching and Research: Focus of Collaboration with USSHAmong the programs for faculty members, FDP4 - Artificial Intelligence for Teaching and Research is identified as a professional pillar, a course designed and implemented by USSH.
Training course on AI applications in teaching and research in Hanoi.
The course will be held in person in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in January 2026, with the participation of lecturers from 6 Vietnamese universities, including: the Academy of Public Administration and Management, the National Economics University, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), the Vietnam Women's Academy, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, and the Vietnamese-German University.
The core objective of this course is to equip instructors with:
- A solid foundation in AI, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs);
- Skills in applying AI in course design, assessment, scientific research, and academic publication;
- AI-generated content recognition capabilities ensure academic integrity;
- Deep awareness of ethics, social responsibility, and sustainability in the use of AI in higher education.
The program is structured around practical application, case studies, and in-depth discussions, combining content on teaching with AI, research with AI, scientific publishing, and research idea defense, while placing AI within the context of current educational ethics and policies.
Students participate in a class discussion in Ho Chi Minh City.
The course is held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Following its successful implementation in Vietnam, FDP4 will be expanded to four other countries within the framework of the DS2S project, thereby affirming the academic leadership role of Vietnamese higher education institutions in regional and international cooperation networks.
Participants receive certificates of completion for the course.

These courses are completely free and will be transferred to Vietnamese universities.
