Students note:
1. Those who have achieved B1: have met the output standards and are eligible to defend their thesis, students do not need to obtain a B1 certificate. Those who need a B1 certificate for other jobs must proactively register with the University of Languages and International Studies according to their regulations.
2. Students who have not reached B1:
- Register to retake the Basic Foreign Language course with the 2014 course (expected to be taken in July 2014): there will be a specific announcement of the re-registration schedule on the website.
- Students can take the B1 exam at units accepted by VNU (see VNU's instruction 146 for details) and submit a replacement certificate when notified by the Graduate Training Department (the Graduate Training Department will organize for students to submit an application for exemption from basic foreign language courses before each foreign language course for the next courses). The Graduate Training Department will not collect scattered certificates, except in cases where students are preparing to defend their thesis.
