Students please note:
1. For those who have already achieved B1 level: having met the output standards and being eligible to defend their thesis, students do not need to obtain a B1 certificate. Those who need a B1 certificate for other work purposes should proactively register with the University of Foreign Languages according to their regulations.
2. Students who have not yet reached B1 level:
- To re-register for the Basic Foreign Language course with the 2014 cohort (scheduled to start in July 2014): a specific registration schedule will be announced on the website.
- Students can take the B1 exam at units accepted by VNU (see VNU's guidance document 146 for details) and submit a replacement certificate when announced by the Postgraduate Training Department (which will organize the submission of applications for exemption from basic foreign language courses before each foreign language course period for subsequent courses). The Postgraduate Training Department will not collect certificates randomly, except in cases where students are preparing to defend their thesis.
