2. Eligibility Criteria

- Full-time students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

- Full-time students of universities under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi: University of Foreign Languages, University of Education, University of Law, University of Economics, University of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, International School.

3. Eligibility requirements for admission

- The main field of study in the second degree program must be different from the main field of study in the first degree program.

- Have completed at least two semesters of the first training program.

- The overall average grade for all courses from the beginning of the program to the time of registration for the second degree program must be 2.5 or higher and meet the minimum quality assurance threshold for admission to the second degree program in the enrollment year.

- Students who apply to enroll in a second degree program must pay tuition fees as stipulated by the training institution.

4. Admission methods

Admission will be based on the overall academic average from the beginning of the course to the time of application, ranked from highest to lowest until all available slots are filled.

6. Application process, application documents, and tuition fees:

6.1. Application for admission

- Students register for admission online by filling out the form at the following address:https://forms.gle/7KhBnFKAMPfBr67u6 

6.2. Application Fee

- Fee: 100,000 VND/application

- Students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities pay the fee directly and receive assistance in printing their transcripts (proof of academic results up to the time of admission) at the Training and Student Affairs Office (Room 105, Building E).

- Students from training units outside the University of Social Sciences and Humanities must transfer the registration fee, make a copy of the transaction, and submit it along with their transcript (proof of academic results up to the time of application) bearing the signature and seal of their first major's training unit.

6.3. Application documents (Admitted students must submit these documents upon enrollment)

- 01 Application form for admission to the second training program in 2026 (according to the template)

- 01 Student Information Form for the Second Program in 2026 (according to the template)

- Two 3x4 photos (write your full name, date of birth, and student ID on the back).

7. Tuition fees

- Tuition fees are calculated per credit unit and are paid per semester corresponding to the number of credits registered for that semester.

- The tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year for the following majors are expected to be as follows:

+ 745,000 VND/credit: Journalism, Public Relations, Tourism and Travel Service Management, Hotel Management, International Studies, Psychology, Korean Studies

+ 640,000 VND/credit: Oriental Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, Management Science, Information Management, Archival Studies, Office Administration, Sino-Vietnamese Studies, Literature, History, Cultural Studies, Political Science, Information-Library Studies, Linguistics, Vietnamese Studies, Sociology.

+ 530,000 VND/credit: Social Work, Anthropology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Film and Popular Arts.

8. Training organization

Students study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Based on the general timetable for all majors at the University and the specific timetable for the second degree program, students register for courses that suit their time and study plan.

9. Graduation requirements

Upon completing their second degree program, students receive a regular undergraduate degree awarded by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Students are only recognized as having graduated if they meet the following conditions:

- Recognized as having graduated from the first field of study;

- Up to the time of graduation consideration, students must not be under criminal investigation;

- Accumulate the required number of credits as stipulated in the second degree program;

- The cumulative GPA for the entire course must be 2.0 or higher;

- Still within the maximum time limit for completing the first degree program;

- I have paid the full tuition fee for the course.

Note: The maximum time limit for completing the second training program is the same as the maximum time limit for completing the first training program.
