The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is recruiting students for its short-term certificate course "Journalism Writing Skills K4-2016" as follows:
1. Training method:
- Provides an overview of journalism and an understanding of basic genres: news, feature stories, interviews, photojournalism, etc.
- Develop practical skills for creating a journalistic piece: finding topics, processing information, interviewing skills, organizing articles, editing skills, etc.
- Analyze journalistic works to correct errors in the reporting process.
- Cultivate dynamism and creativity, build relationships, and broaden social understanding.
- Certificate (Vietnamese - English) issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi
- Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to independently produce and publish journalistic works as required.
2. Application documents:Application form (obtain and fill out at the registration location); copy of ID card, copy of university diploma or copy of student card; 1 photograph 4 x 6 cm (taken within the last 3 months)
3. Application deadline:Before October 31, 2016
4. Where to submit the application:At the Center for Journalism and Communication Studies (Room 411, Building C, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).
5. Study time:16 sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 6 PM to 8 PM.
6. Expected enrollment:6 PM, November 5, 2016, in room 308, building C.
7. Tuition fees:
- 2,500,000 VND/student/course.
- The discount for students currently studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is: 2,200,000 VND/student/course.
