Enrollment for TV Professional Class August 2014

University of Social Sciences and Humanities is enrolling for a short-term training course to grant certificates in Television Profession, starting in August 2014.

1. Subject

Students who have graduated/are studying at colleges/universities.

2. Objectives

At the end of the course, students will have a basic theoretical knowledge of television, and master the professional skills to produce a television program. Specifically as follows:

+ Television scripts and scripts; television production process; television journalism genres; television terminology.

+ Techniques for filming basic television genres such as television news, reports, television documentaries, music video clips, etc. Students will practice filming on modern video cameras.

+ Nonlinear film editing techniques and popular computer graphics programs today.

+ Practice time 70%.

3. Study time

14 sessions, 3 sessions per week, Monday-Wednesday-Friday every week, from 6pm-8pm.

4. Tuition

- 3,500,000 VND/student/course. Discount for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 3,200,000 VND/student/course.

- Pay at least 70% of tuition when registering. No refund after the start of the course.

5. Register for study

- From July 25, 2014 to August 25, 2014 at the Center for Journalism and Communication (Room 411, Building C, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi).

Registration documents include:

- Application form (receive and fill out the form at the place of registration)

- Copy of student card/university diploma/copy of birth certificate/photocopy of ID card

- 2 3 x 4 cm photos (taken within the last 3 months)

6. Expected opening date

- August 30, 2014.
