Regarding training, student affairs, quality assurance and legal inspection: The school completed the enrollment of the QH-2021-X course and completed admission procedures for more than 2,000 new students, organized an integration week for new students, completed other training tasks for students of all courses; implemented the second round of graduate enrollment, completed the third round of master's thesis defense procedures in 2021; continued to review, update and support F0, F1, F2 students in areas locked down due to the Covid-19 epidemic; established the School's Education Quality Assurance Council for the 2021-2026 term, wrote the School's self-assessment report and the postgraduate self-assessment report for the Religious Studies and Information Science - Library majors...

Regarding scientific research, cooperation and development: acceptance of basic topics in 2020, appraisal of international publication awards; attending a number of seminars of international partners, carrying out procedures to receive foreign guest lecturers and international students in 2021...

The conference also heard Dr. Trinh Van Dinh - Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Research Management present the translation project that will be implemented in the coming time. The project aims to translate quality books for research and training such as textbooks, monographs, monographs, books of major universities in the world... to create a foundation for the school's learning materials system. In addition, there is a proposal to adjust the policy of supporting international publications for PhD students and staff in the direction of increasing the level of support as well as diversifying beneficiaries and forms of support. After listening to the opinions and suggestions of the leaders of the units, Professor and Principal Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized some main contents:

Regarding epidemic prevention work, the organization of the School's activities must closely follow Directive 22/CT-UBND of the Hanoi People's Committee on adjusting measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the city in the new situation. It is expected that by mid-October 2021, the School will complete the vaccination of 100% of staff and civil servants with 2 doses. This is a good result in the School's epidemic prevention work, but in the coming time, this work still needs to be improved.

Building on the success of the seminarBalance your mind and reduce stress during the epidemic seasonOrganized by the Trade Union, with the trust and assignment of VNU, the University will periodically carry out psychological counseling and social support activities, focusing on contents related to how to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic and towards other specialized counseling. This is both a professional activity and contributes to epidemic prevention, community support, helping to increase the contribution and enhance the image of VNU and the University.

Regarding the implementation of teaching general subjects for VNU students, it is determined that this is an assigned task according to VNU's policy, an opportunity for the teaching staff and to show the "color" of the University. Regarding infrastructure development, the University has increased the use of social resources and sought investment from VNU to renovate items, according to the roadmap and short-term, long-term and medium-term goals. The implementation of Vnu-Eoffice needs to be carried out synchronously throughout the University.

Regarding the implementation of Decree 81, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan affirmed that this is not only a story about tuition fees but also related to many issues of restructuring and reorienting development to improve competitiveness, increase revenue, and help solve difficulties in the development problem of the School. In the immediate future, the School needs to choose early which training majors will be implemented for accreditation; restructure training majors in a streamlined direction, suitable to social needs; continue to adjust knowledge blocks M1-2-3 in the direction of connection and association with units in VNU. For training majors that attract society, it is necessary to calculate to solve the problem of training costs, development reinvestment rates and appropriate tuition levels according to Decree 81; for basic science majors that are difficult to recruit, the School will receive additional support from investment and orders from VNU every year.

Policies to support international publication activities and adjust regulations for basic topics will be built on the spirit of "individualization" in investment, ensuring the goal of developing staff quality, enhancing the reputation and academic prestige of the School in a practical direction. The translation project will be implemented in October, and widely consulted in November. This is a project expected to create a good support foundation for scientific and training activities. When implementing, it is necessary to pay attention to issues of copyright, publishing, access to socialized investment sources, revenue from project results, etc.
