The Face USSH 2020 Champion Doan Huong Ly - Multi-talented female student

Huong Ly was born in 2002, from Hanoi, and is currently studying two majors: Religious Studies and Journalism at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. Constantly striving and working hard, this talented girl has achieved many good results in her studies as well as in school and class activities. Notably, Huong Ly won the championship of The Face USSH 2020 when she was only a first-year student. Recently, she also received the "PEM Ambassador" award in the PEM's Awards competition and had good academic achievements in the past school year. "The achievements I have achieved are all proof of my constant efforts and I am very proud of them, but I never put too much pressure on myself." - Huong Ly shared.

Since she was a freshman, Huong Ly registered to participate and became a collaborator of the program “Nang Hong Nhan Van”. At the same time, she is also a member of the first generation of PEM - Presentation & MC Club up to now. Not only working and studying at school, Huong Ly also tried her hand at some fields such as: MC, actress and photo model. She appeared in TV series such as: “11 thang 5 ngay”, “Mua hoa tim lai”, and recently in the MV “Khong can co” by two young artists MCK and Tlinh. When asked about these experiences, she was extremely excited: “Recently, I was very honored to be the connector between new students and teachers in the Integration Week program for students of the QH-2021-X course as the MC. Besides, I also had the opportunity to lead the Golden Bell - My Smart Class contest in the past school year. For me, these are all valuable experiences, accumulated luggage for the future."

After 1 year of being crowned, Huong Ly has accumulated many useful experiences. In the future, the image of a female student that she aims for is dynamic, beautiful and creative. To achieve her goals, she is determined: “No matter what field or role I am in, I will constantly learn many things from the people around me. Especially, when I have achieved certain achievements, I need to try and make more efforts…”.

Talking more about The Face USSH 2020 contest, Huong Ly said: “When I learned about The Face USSH 2020 contest, there were only about 3 hours left before the registration deadline, I immediately opened my phone and filled out the application in a rush mixed with a little excitement. I really didn't expect that I could go so far into the next round and achieve such good results. I was most impressed and loved the last round: Wisdom. In this round, contestants film a film and express their thoughts on their favorite motto. Through this round, contestants have the opportunity to reveal the depth of their thoughts, ingenuity and thinking ability. It can be said that this is an important round, contributing to assessing the contestants' abilities, a magnifying glass to find The Face USSH.

When asked about her feelings at the moment of coronation, she was a bit emotional: “Hearing Doan Huong Ly win the championship, I was surprised and very happy. At that time, I felt that all my efforts, all the expectations of those who believed in and supported me were rewarded appropriately. I don't dare say that my performance was the most meticulous and invested, but it was my whole "fortune", containing enthusiasm and a sincere heart. I don't have any secret to overcome the rounds, if anything, it's just trying my best and being determined not to give up. Because for me, even if I didn't win the championship, I had already conquered myself and become a stronger version of Huong Ly than before...".
