The ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet (November 23, 1922 - November 23, 2022) was organized by the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Vinh Long is the host and implementing unit.
On this occasion, the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio produced the documentary "Comrade Vo Van Kiet - Excellent Leader", affirming the merits and honoring the great contributions of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet - an outstanding son of his homeland Vinh Long, of the Southern citadel - to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause. The film will be shown on VTV1 channel at 8:10 p.m. on November 21, 2022. The film mentions the vision of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet on Vietnamese higher education, with important decisions to establish 2 National Universities.
