Here, Vietnamese students have many opportunities to find valuable scholarships and learn from the experiences of other international students. In 2022, 23,728 Vietnamese students studied in Taiwan, making Vietnam the country with the largest number of international students there. When studying in Taiwan, students can choose programs taught in Chinese or English, or both.
According to PhD candidate Hoang Anh Tuan from National Taiwan Normal University, most universities in Taiwan offer tuition-free first-year programs for students. Some universities also have work-study programs to help students meet their academic and living needs, and develop soft skills to prepare them for working in international companies and organizations.
