11.1. Mục đích nghiên cứu
Trên cơ sở làm rõ một số vấn đề lý luận về giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam, luận án đánh giá thực trạng giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam cho học viên các trường CAND, từ đó đưa ra quan điểm và các nhóm giải pháp nhằm tăng cường giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam cho học viên các trường CAND ở nước ta hiện nay.
11.2. Đối tượng nghiên cứu
Giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam cho học viên các trường Công an nhân dân ở nước ta hiện nay.
11.3. Các phương pháp nghiên cứu đã sử dụng
- Phương pháp luận: Luận án dựa trên cơ sở phương pháp luận biện chứng duy vật của chủ nghĩa Mác – Lênin.
- Phương pháp nghiên cứu cụ thể: Luận án kết hợp các phương pháp nghiên cứu cụ thể như: Phương pháp lôgic-lịch sử, phương pháp đi từ trừu tượng đến cụ thể, phương pháp phân tích tài liệu, phương pháp điều tra xã hội học, phương pháp phân tích - tổng hợp.
11.4. Các kết quả chính
    - Thứ nhất, tổng quan các công trình nghiên cứu liên quan đến luận án. Khái quát những kết quả của các công trình nghiên cứu và chỉ ra những vấn đề có liên quan đến luận án chưa được nghiên cứu, hoặc nghiên cứu chưa đầy đủ từ đó đặt ra yêu cầu, nhiệm vụ luận án cần phải tiếp tục nghiên cứu giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam cho học viên các trường Công an nhân dân ở nước ta hiện nay. 
- Thứ hai, luận án đã góp phần làm rõ nội hàm khái niệm truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam, phân biệt truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam với các khái niệm liên quan. Luận án đã làm rõ khái niệm giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam, xác định chủ thể giáo dục, đối tượng giáo dục, chỉ ra sự cần thiết, nội dung, phương pháp, phương tiên và những nhân tố tác động đến giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam cho học viên các trường Công an nhân dân.
- Thứ ba, luận án làm rõ thực trạng, chỉ ra những thành tựu, hạn chế, nguyên nhân của những thành tựu, hạn chế và những vấn đề đặt ra đối với giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam cho học viên các trường Công an nhân dân ở nước ta hiện nay.
- Thứ tư, luận án đã xác định quan điểm và đưa ra các nhóm giải pháp tăng cường giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam cho học viên các trường Công an nhân dân ở nước ta hiện nay nhằm khơi dậy tinh thần yêu nước, nuôi dưỡng ước mơ, hoài bão và khát vọng phát triển đất nước phồn vinh, hạnh phúc.
11.5. Kết luận
- Luận án đã giải quyết được một số vấn đề lý luận về truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam, đánh giá được thực trạng, chỉ ra những thành tựu, hạn chế, nguyên nhân của những thành tự, hạn chế và những vấn đề đặt ra. Luận án đã nêu ra các quan điểm và các nhóm giải pháp cơ bản nhằm tăng cường giáo dục truyền thống yêu nước Việt Nam cho học viên các trường Công an nhân ở nước ta hiện nay.
- Luận án đã hoàn thành được mục đích và nhiệm vụ nghiên cứu đề ra.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis
11.1. Research purposes
On the basis of clarifying a number of theoretical issues about traditional Vietnamese patriotic education, the thesis evaluates the current situation of traditional Vietnamese patriotic education for students of People's Public Security schools, thereby giving opinions and solutions.  group of solutions to strengthen the education of Vietnamese patriotic traditions for students of People's Public Security schools in our country today.
11.2. Research objectives
The traditional Vietnamese patriotic education for students of the People's Public Security schools in our country today.
11.3. Research methods
- Methodology: The thesis is based on the materialist dialectical methodology of Marxism - Leninism. 
- Specific research methods: The thesis combines specific research methods such as: the logical-historical method, the method of going from abstract to concrete, the document analysis method, the investigation sociological method, the analytical and synthetic method.
11.4. The major results 
- First, the paper presents an overview of the research works related to the thesis. The author also summarizes the results of the research works and point out the issues related to the thesis that have not been researched, or incomplete research, thereby setting out the requirements and tasks of the thesis that need to be further researched on traditional Vietnamese patriotic education for students of People's Public Security schools in our country today.
- Secondly, the thesis has contributed to clarifying the connotation of the Vietnamese patriotic tradition, distinguishing the Vietnamese patriotic tradition from related concepts. The thesis has clarified the concept of traditional patriotic education in Vietnam, identified the subject of education, the object of education, pointed out the necessity, content, methods, means and factors affecting the traditional patriotic education of Vietnam for students of People'sPublic Security schools.
- Third, the thesis clarifies the current situation, points out the achievements, limitations, causes of these achievements, limitations and problems posed to the traditional patriotic Vietnamese education for students of People's Public Security schools in our country today.
- Fourthly, the thesis has identified viewpoints and proposed groups of solutions to strengthen the traditional Vietnamese patriotic education for students of the People's Public Security schools in our country today in order to arouse patriotism, nurture dreams, ambitions and aspirations to develop a prosperous and happy country.

- The thesis has solved a number of theoretical issues on the Vietnamese patriotic tradition, assessed the current situation, pointed out achievements, limitations, causes of achievements, limitations and problems raised. The author has outlined the basic views and groups of solutions to strengthen the traditional Vietnamese patriotic education for students of the Public Security schools in our country today. 
- The thesis has completed the purposes and tasks of research.
