Southeast and South Asia and Taiwan Universities Presidents’ Forum (SATU) announces the 2016 SATU Joint Research Scheme hosted by the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan.

Wednesday - 25/05/2016 02:49

The scheme is aimed at promoting research exchange and cooperation among SATU members and providing a platform for improving scientific research both quantitatively and qualitatively.

Each project consists of a team of researchers with a NCKU faculty acting as the Principal Investigator (PI) and scholars from other SATU member universities are Co-Principal Investigators (Co-PIs). Each Principal Investigator is to present the project as well as the work done by the team under the scheme at the 2016 SATU Forum. This helps promote investigators’ awareness and involvement in the regional collaborative activities.

Depending on the budget and the project that Co-PIs have applied for, the organizers will consider the provision of financial support for the Co-PIs from SATU member universities outside of Taiwan to visit the National Cheng Kung University between July and September 2016. The maximum financial support is $670 including 2 nights’ accommodation and roundtrip airfare.
