Cooperation between VNU-USSH - Malikussaleh: exchange of lecturers to teach Indonesian for Humanities students

At the meeting, representatives of the two universities discussed and agreed on cooperation views in many fields of research and training. Accordingly, VNU-USSH and UNIMAL will have activities to exchange lecturers and researchers, opening up many opportunities for student exchange and credit recognition of subjects of the two universities. Currently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has welcomed 01 lecturer from Malikussaleh University to voluntarily teach 02 Indonesian language courses for students of Southeast Asian Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies in the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Malikussaleh University will continue to send lecturers to Vietnam to support teaching Indonesian language to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

In addition, the two sides will organize activities within the framework of cooperation on short-term training, seminars and other academic meetings; exchange of academic data and information (journals, books, curricula) as well as special research projects that are beneficial to both sides.

Malikussaleh University (Indonesian: Universitas Malikussaleh, abbreviated as UNIMAL) is an Indonesian public university in North Aceh Regency. Founded in 1969 as a religious institute, the school has expanded into many majors, being integrated into a modern university in 1989.
With a training scale of 10,000-14,999 students, Malikussaleh University currently has 07 faculties with many bachelor's programs (Economics, Law, Social and Political Sciences, Medicine, Education, Agriculture and Engineering) and 05 master's programs.
