On the morning of August 11, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held the closing ceremony of the credit exchange program for students from Virginia University (USA).

Nearly 1,600 new bachelors in 27 full-time majors and 40 in full-time second majors from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH) were conferred with their bachelor's degrees at the commencement ceremony by the 5th and 6th of August, 2023

This is the center of discussion between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH) and the Journal of Vietnamese Studies (JVS) on the afternoon of July 8, 2023.

The course enables learners to explore the historical, cultural and human characteristics of Hanoi as a dynamic, developed metropolis of Asia; in particular, providing students with the opportunity to learn, exchange and practice research on the basis of theoretical systems and interdisciplinary approaches in urban studies in the Global South. The course program is organized on the basis of cooperation between two specialized training institutions in social science and humanities research, namely the Faculty of History, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the Faculty of Social and Cultural Anthropology, University of Cologne, Germany.
