This is the message of Unity Carnival 2024 - a special event organized by the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU on December 15.

On December 10, 2024, the QS ranking organization announced the results of the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 for 1,751 higher education institutions worldwide. In this ranking, VNU has made a strong improvement in position when it was ranked 325th in the world (up 456 places compared to the ranking in the top 781-790 in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024), ranked 51st in Asia and No. 1 in Vietnam. The results were announced on the exact date of VNU's establishment, December 10, 1993 - December 10, 2024.

On October 7, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Founder and Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Prof. Klaus Schwab visited Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and engaged students in conversation on the topic "Positioning Viet Nam in the Intelligent age - Next generation visionaries" at VNU Nguyen Van Dao Hall.

On September 30, 2024, at 19 Le Thanh Tong, Hanoi, Mr Nick Clegg, President, Global Affairs at Meta visited VNU and talked to its students on “The future of artificial intelligence (AI) and Vietnam”.

On December 15th, 2023, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh – Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH), attended " The 5th Sino – Vietnam Presidents Forum of Universities in Red River Basin " in Yunnan Province, China, hosted by Yunnan University on a rotating basis. The prior success from the business trip of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping on December 12-13, 2023 has also fueled inspiration and motivation for this 5th Forum.
