External relations

The Faculty has strongly developed its international cooperation. The Faculty consolidates and expands collaboration with traditional partners for decades, and in recent years has linked with many regional and global universities and research centers. Its successes in international cooperation have provided many job opportunities and fellowships for its lecturers and students and helped students gain access to scholarships in order to improve their professional and foreign language capabilities.

Many international conferences have been co-held by the Faculty and foreign universities gaining critical acclaim such as: International conference of Pan-Asiatic Linguistics (2005); International conference "The study and teaching of Vietnam-China language and culture" (2007, 2009, 2011); International conference "Studying and teaching linguistics in Vietnam: theoretical and practical issues" (2011, 2013, 2016).

The Faculty has been enjoying efficient academic and training relations with many foreign universities, institutes and research centers: Paris 7 University (France), California - Los Angeles University, Cornell University (America), Toronto and Ottawa Universities (Canada), Australia National University (Australia), Osaka University (Japan), Hankuk University of Foreign studies, Seoul National University (South Korea), Guangxi University, Li Gang Academy, Yunnan Nationality University, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai International Studies University (China), University of Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Ubon Ratchathani University, Chulalongkorn University, Mahasarakham University (Thailand), etc.
