The Center for Journalism and Media Professional Training is recruiting students for its Television Production course, which will begin in June 2012.
The Center for Journalism and Communication Studies is recruiting students for its Television Broadcasting Professional Training course, commencing in June 2012. Tuition fee: 3,000,000 VND (10%-15% discount for students and alumni of the University). Duration: 14 sessions. Certificate: Vietnamese-English certificate. Nearest start date: June 1st, 2012, and classes are continuously offered. Location: Studio, 3rd floor, Building H, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
1. Subject: Students who have graduated from or are currently studying at colleges/universities.
2. ObjectivesUpon completion of the course, students will have a solid understanding of television theory and mastered the professional skills needed to produce a television program. Specifically, this includes: + Scriptwriting and television scripts; television program production processes; television journalism genres; television terminology. + Techniques for filming basic television genres such as news, documentaries, music videos, etc. Students will practice filming with modern cameras. + Techniques for non-linear editing and common computer graphics special effects programs. + Practical training accounts for 70% of the course time.
3. LecturersThey are experienced and reputable lecturers and journalists from Vietnam Television and VTC.
4. Study time14 sessions. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 6 PM to 8 PM.
5. Register for the courseApplications will be accepted until June 1st, 2012 at the Center. The application package includes: - Application form (obtain and fill out at the Center) - Copy of student ID/university diploma/identity card - 2 photos 3 x 4 cm (taken within the last 3 months)6.
