11.1. Research Objectives

The research objective of this dissertation is to generalize and clarify Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent and to point out the theoretical and practical significance of Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent for the Vietnamese revolution in the current period, by suggesting solutions to continue building a talent pool in Vietnam in the future.

11.2. Research Subjects

The subject of this dissertation is Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent, specifically his system of views on the role, qualities, selection criteria, subjects, and measures for attracting, training, nurturing, valuing, and protecting talent in the Vietnamese revolutionary cause.

11.3. Research Methodology

This dissertation is based on the application of Marxist-Leninist methodology and Ho Chi Minh Thought as a guiding principle. The author employs a comprehensive range of social and humanities research methods, with particular emphasis on harmoniously combining interdisciplinary approaches to achieve objectivity, comprehensiveness, and depth. The main methods used include: historical-logical method, analytical-synthetic method, systems-structural method, statistical-comparative method, and practical research method.

11.4. Main results and conclusions

11.4.1. Main results

Firstly, this study clarifies some basic concepts related to talent and talent development; it analyzes the practical basis, theoretical foundation, and subjective factors shaping Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent. Secondly, it systematizes and analyzes the fundamental viewpoints in Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent, including: the role of talent; the qualities, abilities, and selection criteria for talent; and the subjects and methods of building a talent pool in the Vietnamese revolution. Thirdly, it analyzes the theoretical and practical significance of Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent for Vietnam today; it evaluates the practice of talent development during the đổi mới (renovation) period, identifying achievements, limitations, and challenges. Fourthly, it proposes directions and some key solutions to improve the effectiveness of talent development in Vietnam today according to Ho Chi Minh's thought.

11.4.2. Conclusion

Firstly, the thesis contributes to supplementing the approach in researching the formation basis and basic content of Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent; secondly, the thesis contributes to affirming the theoretical and practical significance of Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent in the national liberation revolution and the current socio-economic development and international integration; thirdly, the thesis proposes directions and some key solutions to improve the effectiveness of building a talent pool in Vietnam today according to Ho Chi Minh's thought.

11.5. Novel Contribution of the Thesis: The thesis conducts a systematic and comprehensive study of Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent and clarifies the significance of Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent in Vietnam today.

11.6.1. Scientific Significance: This dissertation provides the content and meaning of Ho Chi Minh's thought on talent; it also provides scientific arguments for building a talent pool in Vietnam today according to Ho Chi Minh's thought.

11.6.2. 11.1. Research Objectives

The objective of the thesis is to systematize and clarify Ho Chi Minh's thought on talents, and to elucidate its theoretical and practical significance for the Vietnamese revolution in the current period. On that basis, the thesis proposes orientations and solutions to further develop a contingency of talents in Vietnam in the coming time.

11.2. Research Object

The research object of the thesis is Ho Chi Minh's thought on talents, understood as a system of perspectives regarding the role, qualities, selection criteria, subjects, and measures for attracting, training, fostering, employing, and protecting talents in the cause of the Vietnamese revolution.

11.3. Research Methods

The thesis is conducted on the basis of applying the methodology of Marxism–Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought as its guiding theoretical framework. The author employs a combination of social sciences and humanities research methods, with particular emphasis on the harmonious integration of interdisciplinary approaches, in order to ensure objectivity, comprehensiveness, and analytical depth. Third, the thesis examines the theoretical and practical significance of Ho Chi Minh's thought on talents for contemporary Vietnam; it assesses the practice of developing a contingency of talents during the period of renovation, identifying achievements, limitations, and emerging issues. Fourth, the thesis proposes orientations and several key solutions to enhance the effectiveness of developing a contingency of talents in Vietnam today in accordance with Ho Chi Minh's thought.
