11. Summary of new results of the thesis:
The thesis has analyzed the models of developing environmentally friendly technology, sustainable development, green and clean technology that are currently appearing in the world, at the same time, pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of the model and analyzing its suitability and adaptability to Vietnam; Analyzing the ESG model, forecasting the feasibility and applicability of this model in Vietnamese enterprises in the near future; The ESG model is actually the Environmental - Social and Governance model, and there has been no domestic scientific research applying and analyzing ESG as a solution from Environmental and Technology policies. With the knowledge of the science and technology policy industry, the PhD student has applied the ESG development criteria to establish a policy system to promote enterprises to innovate technology in an environmentally friendly direction to harmonize and integrate the two areas of Environmental policy and Technology policy. This idea is used throughout the thesis by the author to form a policy framework. This is the new point that the Thesis has used compared to the simple corporate governance model that domestic studies are applying; Next, the Thesis proposes 04 component policy frameworks including: Framework of indicators for evaluating environmentally friendly technology; Framework for classifying environmentally friendly technology types; Policy framework to encourage investment, development, and trade of environmentally friendly technology; Policy framework for sustainable enterprise development. On that basis, 01 main policy framework is formed to promote enterprises to innovate technology in an environmentally friendly direction.
12. Practical application possibilities: (if any):
+ The proposed policy framework can be applied to develop policies to promote environmentally friendly technological innovation in Vietnam as well as fill existing policy gaps.
+ Apply solutions from the ESG model that have been policy-based in the direction of science and technology policy. Apply this policy in businesses that are under pressure to meet sustainable business indicators.
13. Further research directions: (if any): Research direction on applying AI technology in data control and management to provide suitable solutions to promote businesses to apply environmentally friendly technology.
