11. Summary of new results of the thesis: In Vietnam, there has been no empirical sociological study that has deeply studied the role of the family in legal education for children. The thesis has systematically studied the current status of the role of the family in legal education for minors according to the sociological approach in terms of parents' awareness, educational content and methods; the level of children's reception of legal education; factors affecting legal education for children. The research results of the thesis affirm that, despite rapid changes in society, the family continues to play an important role in the function of educating and socializing children. In the context of industrialization - modernization, international economic integration in our country today, the educational function of the family faces many difficulties and challenges, requiring the coordination of social organizations, especially schools. Strengthening legal education for students in schools and closely coordinating legal education for children in families determines the success of family education in the new era, meeting the development requirements of modern society.

12. Practical application:

- Supplementing reference materials on the field of family sociology, clarifying further sociological theories on the role of the family in performing the function of human socialization, contributing to the completion of research on families in Vietnam.

- Is a reference document for training institutions, educators and managers in the issue of educating the young generation in general and legal education in particular, contributing to the training of people in the new era.

13. Further research directions: Continue to research solutions to improve the effectiveness of legal education for children in families during the industrialization and modernization period; expand the scope of research to primary school-age children.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis: In Vietnam, there is no in-depth empirical sociological study of the role of family in legal education for children. This thesis researches a scientific actual situation of the family role in legal education for adolescents according to sociological approach in terms of the of parental awareness, content and methods of education, the degree receiving of legal education children, the factors affecting legal education for children. The results of the thesis affirmed that despite the rapid changes of society, the family continues to play an important role in the function of education, socialization of children. In the context of industrialization - modernization, international economic integration in our country today, the educational function of family faces with many difficulties and challenges, requiring the coordination of social organization, especially of the school. The strengthening legal education for children in the school and closely collaborating legal education to children in family determines the success of family education in the new period, meeting the development requirements of modern society.

- To add source of references in the field of family sociology, clarify sociological theories about the role of the family in performing the function of human society, contribute to the completion of family research in Vietnam.
