His progressive views on art, humanity, and the responsibilities of a scholar in life remain relevant to this day.

- By applying critical theory on style in research, literary criticism, the thesis attempts to find out the life and literary career of Nguyen Huy Tuong- who is a great writer, a great man of culture of our nation in 20thcentury. His endeavors and innovation as well as a high degree of seriousness and self-commitment when working with art gain a unique art style in writing.

- Nguyen Huy Tuong lived in a historical time of social changes, grew up in the hometown which is rich in history and culture. The effects of his time, family, homeland had inspired his compositions on the subject of history in a sense of inspiring praise, national pride and deep patriotism. His progressive conception of art, humanity and scholars' responsibilities towards life, is completely original value so far.

- The highlights of Nguyen Huy Tuong's artistic styles are historical and updated nuance covering every work, genre, govern the selection of themes, building characters, structures with epic- hero trend; harrowing and heroic tone; pure, simple language, with lots of words which have both ancient atmosphere and romantic, poetic meanings.

- Nguyen Huy Tuong brought to Vietnamese literature a special style in describing with much of contemplation, reflections on our national history. He deserves undoubtedly the title of being not only a historian recapitulating history through literature but also a Hanoi's writer creating finest pieces of work.
