11. Summary of new results of the thesis:
Research purpose of the thesis: The thesis focuses on clarifying the basic contents of the Islamic educational philosophy and its influence on Malaysian education, thereby making comments on educational results and how Malaysia applies the Islamic educational philosophy in the education system. On that basis, the thesis suggests the selective absorption of positive values ​​of religion into Vietnamese education, especially in building a new educational philosophy in Vietnam today.
Research object of the thesis: The thesis focuses on studying the basic contents of Islamic educational philosophy and its influence on Malaysian education.
Research method of the thesis: The thesis uses a combination of many interdisciplinary research methods such as: document criticism, analysis-synthesis, historical method, interpretation method, comparison-contrast... to serve the entire research process.

* New contributions of the thesis
The thesis first contributes to clarifying the philosophy of Islamic education. Although this philosophy has been mentioned in a number of documents, it is quite scattered and fragmented. In this thesis, the philosophy of Islamic education will be expressed through specific contents and systematized according to the author's assessment.
The thesis also points out the influences of Islamic educational philosophy on Malaysian education through channels of influence (State, policies, organizations...); scope of influence (purpose, content, educational methods), and objects of influence (ethnic communities, teachers, learners...)
Finally, the thesis provides comments and assessments on the results of Malaysian education under the influence of Islamic educational philosophy, thereby pointing out the positive values ​​of religion that Vietnam needs to refer to, especially in building a new educational philosophy of Vietnam.
* Theoretical and practical significance of the thesis
In theory: Systematize general theoretical issues on educational philosophy and Islamic educational philosophy; contribute an empirical study to demonstrate the important role of educational philosophy and the role of religion in a country's educational system through analyzing and evaluating the influence of Islamic educational philosophy on Malaysian education.
In practice: The research results of the thesis are considered useful documents to help experts and policy researchers have a more objective and comprehensive view of the values ​​of religion, especially in the context of Vietnam increasingly paying attention to the role of religion in the process of national innovation in general and education in particular. Accordingly, the thesis recommends that Vietnamese educational policy makers pay attention to applying the good values ​​of religion in education and in building a new educational philosophy today.
In addition, the research results of the thesis are also a source of reference for Southeast Asian Studies and Religious Studies in Vietnam.
