Students trained by the Faculty of Sociology possess interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to thrive, adapt, and integrate into a wide variety of professions:
To equip students, including undergraduates, graduate students, and doctoral candidates, with the knowledge and skills to assume the aforementioned job positions, in addition to classroom learning, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students of the Sociology Department participate in numerous internships, practical training, and hands-on experience at various agencies and localities; they also participate in research projects led by professors and lecturers both within and outside the Sociology Department. Furthermore, students participate in many social movements and activities to develop soft skills and foreign language proficiency. In particular, students actively participate in and hold important positions in clubs and social activities organized by the University and the Department: Hoa Da Club, Sol Club, English Club, Student Volunteer Club, Social Work Club, Student Volunteers, Green Summer Program, Student Scientific Research Program, and cultural exchange programs both domestically and internationally.
