Alongside their studies, students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies have made their mark at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities through various activities such as scientific research and cultural and artistic events. Among these, the most notable are the Oriental Night cultural program and the Oriental Film Week, which attract thousands of viewers. These activities highlight the strengths of the Faculty, creating a unique identity reflecting the spirit of the Orient.
One advantage for students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies is the annual opportunity to interact with students and teachers from the countries where they are studying. Students can organize scientific discussions, sightseeing tours, cultural exchanges with students from other countries, and even experience cultural differences through homestay activities.
The Faculty of Oriental Studies has a Student Academic and Scientific Research Club established to promote scientific research and knowledge sharing among students from different majors and years. In the field of academic exchange, students from the faculty have also won numerous awards in competitions. The Faculty of Oriental Studies consistently leads the university in the number of students participating in scientific research activities and has won many high-ranking awards. Many scientific research projects by the faculty's students have been nominated to the Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the Ministry level.
In addition, students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies are always actively at the forefront of activities of the Youth Union, the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and other universities nationwide. Regarding cultural, sports, and social work activities, student programs include:

• Charity programs like "Spring of Love," "Towards the Highlands," etc.
