Along with studying, students of the Oriental Faculty have made their mark at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in many activities such as scientific research, cultural and artistic activities, etc. Among these activities, the outstanding ones are the Oriental Night cultural program and the Oriental Film Week, which attract thousands of audiences to enjoy. Through this, the strengths of the Faculty are highlighted, creating a unique feature with an Oriental identity.
One advantage of students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies is that every year they have exchanges with students and teachers from the countries they are studying in. Students can organize scientific discussions, visit and exchange cultures with students from other countries and even experience cultural differences through homestay activities.
The Oriental Studies Faculty has a Student Scientific Research and Study Club established with the aim of promoting scientific research activities and knowledge sharing among students of different majors and courses. In the field of academic exchange activities, students of the Faculty have also won many awards at competitions. The Oriental Studies Faculty always leads in the number of students participating in the scientific research activities of the school and has won many high awards. Many scientific researches of the Faculty's students have been nominated to the Hanoi National University and the Ministry level.
In addition, students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies are always proactive in taking the lead in activities of the Youth Union, the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and other universities nationwide. Regarding cultural and social activities, the student programs include:
