Typical professional activities

• Scientific research is an important annual professional activity for students of the Faculty. In the last 5 Student Scientific Research Conferences (2018-2023), the Faculty has had over 100 student scientific reports. Many of these high-quality reports have received investment for selection and achieved high results at higher levels: 3 First Prizes at the Vietnam National University level (1 report received significant investment and was published in a domestic specialized journal), 5 First Prizes, 9 Second Prizes, and 11 Third Prizes at the university level. The Faculty's annual Student Scientific Research Conference usually attracts a large number of students from various cohorts.
• Organizing internships and practical training for students at domestic and international organizations with diverse content and formats has yielded good results and created a significant impact.

Typical extracurricular activities

• Field trips and excursions are organized annually for Vietnamese and international students as part of their training programs. From the academic years 2018-2019, 2020-2021, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024, Vietnamese students completed practical training in China; international students completed practical training in Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, Ha Long, and Cat Ba.
• The faculty's annual cultural program celebrating Vietnamese Teachers' Day has attracted significant attention and garnered widespread acclaim with its diverse and rich performances. The program provides an opportunity for generations of faculty and students to meet, interact, and express gratitude to the teachers who have taught and are currently teaching at the faculty. Simultaneously, the program allows Vietnamese and international students studying at the faculty to showcase their talents in culture, arts, and dance.
• The thematic talks by domestic and foreign experts on new issues in Linguistics and Vietnamese Linguistics, such as some new research results on vocabulary and semantics, some issues in psycholinguistics, therapeutic linguistics, computational linguistics, GPT chat, etc., have given students much interest and a desire to explore and research linguistics.
