Typical professional activities

• Scientific research is an important annual professional activity for students of the faculty. In the last 5 times of organizing the Student Scientific Research Conference (2018-2023), the faculty has had over 100 student scientific reports. Many of these quality reports have been invested in and selected and achieved high results at higher levels: 03 First prizes at VNU (01 report was invested in and published in a domestic specialized journal), 05 First prizes, 09 Second prizes, 11 Third prizes at the school level. The faculty's annual student scientific research conference often attracts a large number of student classes to participate.
• Organize internships and field trips for students at domestic and foreign units with diverse content and forms, achieving good results and causing great resonance.

Typical extracurricular activities

• Field trips combined with field trips for Vietnamese and foreign students according to the annual training program. From the 2018-2019, 2020-2021, 2022-2023, 2023-2024 school years, Vietnamese students will have internships in China; foreign students will have internships in Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An, Ha Long - Cat Ba.
• The Faculty’s annual Vietnamese Teachers’ Day Celebration Program has attracted and resonated with many diverse and rich cultural programs. The program is an opportunity for generations of teachers and students of the Faculty to meet, exchange, and express gratitude to generations of teachers who have taught and are teaching at the Faculty. At the same time, the program is also an opportunity for Vietnamese and foreign students studying at the Faculty to “show off and shine” their cultural, artistic, and dance talents.
• Thematic talks by domestic and foreign experts on new issues in Linguistics and Vietnamese linguistics such as some new research results on vocabulary - semantics, some issues on psycholinguistics, therapeutic linguistics, computer linguistics, GPT chat... bring students a lot of interest and desire to explore and research linguistics.
