Students trained from the Faculty of Sociology have interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to develop, adapt and integrate in many diverse professions:

  • Teaching and research at universities and research institutes.
  • Undertake multiple roles in government agencies (policy formulation, adjustment, implementation and evaluation).
  • Management consulting, market research, customer relations, human resource management, communications, etc.
  • Worked in various NGOs, social enterprises and voluntary social organizations.
  • Take on many job positions in the public service sector to improve the quality of community life (activities to improve the quality of public administrative services, organizational management...

In order to equip themselves with knowledge and skills to take on the above positions, in addition to studying in the classroom, students, graduate students and postgraduates of the Faculty of Sociology participate in many internships and practice sessions at many different agencies and localities; participate in topics and projects chaired by teachers and lecturers inside and outside the Faculty of Sociology. In addition, students participate in many movements and social activities to develop soft skills and foreign languages. In particular, students also actively participate and hold many important positions in clubs and social activities organized by the School and the Faculty: Stone Flower Club, Sol Club, English Club, Student Volunteer Club, Social Work Club, Volunteer Students, Green Summer, Scientific Research Students, cultural exchange programs at home and abroad.
