TRAINING DEPARTMENT

Function and task

The Training Department has the function of advising and assisting the Principal in developing plans and implementing policies of the Ministry of Education and Training, of Hanoi National University and of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on undergraduate and postgraduate training; organizing, directing, implementing and supervising the teaching and learning of training systems and levels from undergraduate to postgraduate according to current regulations. Main tasks:

• Advise and assist the Principal in determining training objectives, training scale, occupational structure, opening new majors and majors; research and propose measures to improve and perfect training content, programs, processes, textbooks, methods and training quality management.
• Advise and assist the Principal in managing and organizing international joint training programs.
• Develop the overall teaching plan of the whole school for each course, school year, semester; create timetables, arrange and manage teaching and learning schedules.
• Monitor and check the implementation of teaching plans, training programs and teaching and learning regulations in faculties; propose, supplement or adjust when necessary for the Principal to consider and decide.
• Administrative management of training at all levels and training systems of the School in accordance with the regulations on university and postgraduate training issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi National University; collecting, compiling and processing information on teaching and academic affairs.
• Advise the Principal on policies for teaching staff in the School and guest lecturers and teaching staff; check and confirm lecturers' teaching hours so that the School can pay remuneration; propose opinions on the need for facilities and necessary conditions for teaching and learning.
• Organize guidance and answer questions from students about learning, testing and exam regulations.
• Plan and organize annual enrollment for undergraduate and graduate training programs; act as the focal point for organizing enrollment work with other units in the School.
